WE ARE HERE FOR YOU
Keat Ooi surgery incorporates a diverse and integrated team, who delivers a consistently high standard of patient care where safety and outcomes are paramount.
Our practice is evidence based and we use updated technology to evaluate patients and to provide the most appropriate treatment options for patients, based on their needs.
A Patient’s Perspective
Most patients who are affected by a spine condition will experience symptoms before they seek advice from an allied health professional or a medical practitioner. Others may visit their GP for an unrelated condition when they are diagnosed or suspected of having a spine disorder. Their GP may then request for more diagnostic test before referring their patient to an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in spine surgery or, to a neurologist who has the required specialised training.
Our team understands that every patient has a unique journey prior to visiting a specialist for a consultation. Each have their own concerns and needs. Some patients may feel anxious about their health or they may be concerned about the need for further diagnostic procedures and the types of treatments that they might require. Other patients may be apprehensive about a worsening injury or a setback due to disease progression.
At Keat Ooi surgery, we will listen to you and take time to answer your questions. We will discuss diagnostic requirements and treatment options with you based on your own needs with the aim of getting you back to normal function as quickly as possible.
